Wayner Privacy Policy

Effective September 2, 2026

Wayner.ai is a private family service: a phone number you text questions to, answered in Wayne Page's voice, using only what Wayne has actually told the family. Russell Page runs it for the family. It is not a commercial product. There are no ads, and nobody makes money from your information.

What we collect

• Your cell number, name, and email when you join.
• The texts you send to Wayne and the answers sent back, so the service works and problems can be fixed.
• Wayne's knowledge: interviews, stories, and facts the family has written down about his life. That is the only thing Wayne answers from.

Where it lives

Everything is stored in a private Supabase Postgres database (the family's "BarnFishr" project, hosted in the US). Twilio delivers the text messages, and an Anthropic language model writes the answers. Both process message content only to provide the service, under their own privacy terms.

What we never do

We never sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing. Numbers that aren't on the approved family list get no response at all - not even an error.

Who can see it

Russell, as the person running the service, and the approved family members who use it. Family members see Wayne's answers to their own questions; they don't see your sign-up details.

Leaving

Text STOP to the Wayner number at any time to stop receiving messages. Ask Russell to remove you and your number, email, and message history are deleted from the members list. Wayne's own knowledge stays - it's his story, kept for the family.
